problems with a merger compressor contactor, Evert next 2 weeks. no voltage drop at the contact terminals POIN

new replacement compressor occurred a few weeks ago and every two weeks, the contactor 2 fuses three Leggs causing the compressor to close the internal overload. 208/230 vot 3 Power phase. read each leg 120 to 124 volts ground.no the voltage drop across the contact point of the load line. 40 amps switch compressor operates at approximately 12 to 13 ampères leg. observed switch on and off. Each threre can not find anything wrong. Copeland requirements is 30degrees maximum heat the compressor super or less. get about 28 degrees. compessor is the second in 2 months. his work look like any contactor 12 to 14 days melt together. Is there a voltage drop in the main panel grid during the night, causing more amp draw. all connections are tight in the back and the switch. A / C unit is in the same group and passes only the condenser cold walkin

A switch to control a motor must be (must be in code) rated in horsepower, not amps. A switch rated in amperes in May were not designed to handle being the starter or to break the motor current in overload conditions. A voltage drop May cause motor overloading and even after.
